Zhang Zhongjing,（150 A.D.-219A.D.）an ancient Chinese physician, was once a senior officer but resigned to do specialized research in medicine. He collected, analyzed and created a lot of medical theories. He wrote Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases, which initiated the method of TSD in the field of medicine in China. Meanwhile he did something special in the field of galenical pharmacy, which has profound influence to the later generations. Therefore, the ancient doctors respectfully called him “medical sage”.
