Cao, Saitao, diagnosed Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2012
Symptoms: Pain in all joints from 2011, taking pain reliever for a year, no significant effect. diagnosed Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2012. Anemia, poor appetite and pool sleep condition. Abnormal in the surface of tongue and pulse. Swelling in the fusiform interphalangeal joints of the third finger in both hands. Tenderness in both elbow joints and inner right knee. Difficulty in bending to squat. March 28, 2013, start taking “TCM Nutritional Immune Rehabilitation Therapy”. April 5, 2013, returned visit, took herbs on time, got worse two days later, but relieved then. July 20, 2013, returned visit, physical condition better, joints pain and swelling alleviated. Reduce taking pain reliever from previous three tablets a day to one tablet a day. August 18, 2013, returned visit, still little pain on arms. Joint swelling disappeared. Be informed some attention note in summer, especially in A/C room. Stop taking pain reliever. Sept. 21, 2013, phone call follow-up, all symptoms under control, freedom of movement. Be advised to take an additional month herbs to consolidate the condition and then stop taking herbs
